ABOUT ME
IN 246 WORDS OR LESS
I was born in a small town in southern Poland, moved to a slightly bigger one for high school, and eventually made it to the big city to grab a master’s degree. You could say I’ve always been curious about what’s beyond the horizon.
After cycling through a few jobs and still not quite sure what to do next, I stumbled into advertising. A friend said, “The people are great, the money’s decent—give it a go.” So I threw together a spec portfolio and somehow convinced a creative director to take me on as a junior copywriter.
Since then, advertising has taken me from Warsaw to New York City, Mexico City, and now Berlin, where I currently live and work.
Along the way, I’ve picked up a few shiny things, including:
11x Cannes Lions (Grand Prix and Titanium—firsts for a Polish creative!)
3x D&AD Pencils (including Poland’s first pencil for a campaign)
8x Effies (3x Gold)
8x Golden Drums (incl. 2x Grand Prix)
5x ANDYs (incl. a GRANDY)
20+ Polish Ad Club awards (incl. 2x Grand Prix)
I’m a firm believer that this industry is all about the people—none of my success would’ve been possible without some seriously smart and talented folks I met along the way at FCB, Serviceplan, Jung v. Matt, Cheil, Dentsu, VML, and BBDO.
When I’m not leading creative teams, concepting, or writing, you’ll probably find me digging through record crates, watching documentaries, hitting up a photo exhibition, or plotting my next trip.
